Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes
“Breastfeeding is an art & Lactation is a science. Feeding success is like a dance between being creative and following the rules.” ~The Milk Whisperer
Proper education and support are key ingredients for breastfeeding success. I provide private classes for expecting mothers and couples in a relaxed environment in my home. I use teaching methods such as lecture, demonstration, return demonstration, video, and Q&A to help ensure that you are knowledgable and comfortable before your baby arrives.
This prenatal breastfeeding class is also a great supplement to childbirth classes that cover some basics but may not answer all your questions or have been taught by a Certified Lactation Educator. My goal is to give you confidence in your ability to breastfeed your baby through practical knowledge and information, skills and personal experience.

This comprehensive three hour class is held once a month. Class size is limited which allows you to get your questions answered and for me to personalize the class to your specific needs.
Topics covered:
- Benefits of Breastfeeding
- Basic Anatomy & Physiology
- Establishing a Healthy Milk Supply
- Getting “Enough” Breastmilk
- Proper Positioning & Latch-On

"I really enjoyed the breastfeeding class I took with Lacey. She made it fun! She is articulate and very knowledgeable about all things breastfeeding."
I love how Lacey covered a wide range of topics. She made it really fun and interactive!
It was a great class. Lacey has a great way of presenting material that's easy to understand. My favorite part is that she talks about her own experiences. I never breastfed, so I learned a lot of great information I can now pass on to my clients.
