Soft Star Shoes Review & Giveaway

October 12, 2015

Our kids go barefoot most of the time but when they wear shoes, we like a minimalist design with a low profile which promotes natural foot movement and healthy foot development. I first discovered Soft Star shoes when Judah was a baby. They contain no toxic chemicals, dyes, or pollutants – only natural materials are used in these handmade kicks. Soft Star is also one of the most environmentally and socially responsible companies out there.

The Child Sandal was a perfect summer shoe and the Vegan Hotcake moccasins became a fast favorite. As Judah’s foot grew, we went through several pairs. Although they got a lot of use, they held up well enough for Benjamin to wear. Now that Ben is a toddler, I was really excited that Soft Star sent us a pair of Child Classics to check out! How cute is that little gold star?!

Aside from being adorable, the closed toe design helps to protect his little piggies from sticks, sand and pebbles when we go on all of our adventures and they are naturally water-resistant. There’s enough room for his toes to wiggle around and spread out, and the soles are flexible but durable enough to protect from uneven surfaces and minimize trips. Ben is currently obsessed with putting on and taking off his own shoes, so the adjustable velcro strap at the ankle is an added bonus.

Thank you Soft Star for the awesome shoes! And also, for giving Natureal Mom readers a chance to win a $50 gift card towards any style! You can see their selection for babies and children, including Waldorf and Montessori Classroom shoes. There is also the option to Design Your Own shoes – choosing from different colors, motifs, and materials, which also include vegan options.
